of 2021, the news leapt that Google had chosen Malaga<\/a><\/strong>, specifically the building of the former Military Government in Muelle Uno, to create a centre of excellence in cybersecurity. <a chosen Malaga for its new Hub in Europe where it will house up to 30 analysts for its investment banking business.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Among other reasons that are key for large multinationals to make Bureau of Exhibitions in French<strong>) and they were very excited about the project presented by the capital of the Costa del Sol.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the words of the President of the Executive Committee of the BIE, Alain Berger commented that &#8220;Malaga&#8217;s potential is impressive and guarantees success&#8221;, adding that &#8220;Malaga is a complete city that brings together all the qualities&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>There are 4 other finalists along with Malaga; Phuket (Thailand), San Carlos de Bariloche (Argentina), Belgrade (Serbia) and Minnesota (USA), and the final decision will be class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Many of the multinationals that are deciding to base part of their business in Malaga are world-class technology companies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the words of one of the gurus in cybersecurity, and in one of the interviews recently granted to El Espa\u00f1ol, Sergio de los Santos (Head of Innovation and Laboratory at Telef\u00f3nica Cybersecurity &amp; Cloud Tech) comments that &#8220;Malaga is already the European capital of cybersecurity and could become the world capital&#8221;. He goes on to say that &#8220;all the right ingredients are in place for Malaga to be fashionable, but it is not hollow, nor is it smoke or a bubble&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>All this news means that there are undoubtedly more and more investors and individuals focusing on Malaga and the surrounding area.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"POPULATION_GROWTH_PROJECTION_FOR_MALAGA_BETWEEN_NOW_AND_2037\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #009394;\">POPULATION GROWTH PROJECTION FOR MALAGA BETWEEN NOW AND 2037<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>A few days ago, the National Institute of Statistics (INE) published the latest population projections for 2022 to 2037, which place Malaga in the TOP 5 of Spanish cities with the greatest potential.<\/p>\n<p>These<strong> forecasts place Malaga as the fifth province with the highest population growth in the whole country<\/strong>: it will add nearly 283,000 inhabitants (16% in proportional terms), placing it on the verge of two million inhabitants. Only Madrid, Barcelona, the Balearic Islands and Alicante will increase their population to a greater extent than Malaga. According to the forecasts explained by the INE, Malaga will be responsible for almost 60% of Andalusia&#8217;s population growth over the next fifteen years, and will equal Seville in population in this time.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"CLIMATE_AND_COMMUNICATIONS_IN_MALAGA\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #009394;\">CLIMATE AND COMMUNICATIONS IN MALAGA<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Malaga has 300 days of sunshine and an average temperature of 23\u00ba<\/strong>, making it one of the Spanish and European municipalities with the best weather conditions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In addition to this, the city is perfectly connected to the rest of the world by land and air<\/strong>; it has an International Airport and the Maria Zambrano AVE high speed train station less than 15 minutes away from the historic centre.
